In case you'd like to participate but need an extra day or two to submit your comfort food entry, I'm extending the deadline to this coming Monday, January, 21st. That means the round-up of all the submissions will also be pushed back a little bit. I'm also working on how to best let you all vote to determine the winner.
I think the competition is going to be stiff! Deliciously cozy-sounding recipes have been coming in from all over the world - including Oakland, India, New York, Austria, Boston, England, Germany, San Francisco, and more!

Hi Eve, I was so looking forward to participate. I love comfort food! I had a burst of joy when I saw your post announcing your deadline extension... but now I see I'm too late anyway. I was planning on participating with a typical dutch comfort food dish but I've been completely overworked the last couple of weeks. It will be for another time!
